The Fastnet Marine & Outdoor Education Centre is located on the Mizen Peninsula in Schull Harbour in the South West of Ireland. Schull is a charming village with shops, pubs and restaurants, surrounded by beautiful countryside, golden beaches and a bay full of islands to explore.
The sheltered waters of Roaringwater Bay are an ideal place to learn how to sail or train to be an Olympian.
We have dedicated facilities which offer a range of comprehensive courses, whether you are an experienced sailor and want to improve your skills or you just want to enjoy the beauty of West Cork and go for a day’s sailing in the bay.
David Harte is the manager of the Fastnet Marine Outdoor Education Centre and his expertise comes from years of teaching and coaching sailing at National, International and Olympic level. David and his team will be here to ensure you receive the highest standard of sailing programmes available.
